Hi folks,
Well, it seems we have weathered covid and come through the other side relatively unscathed. We count our blessings for living here on the, always beautiful, Sunshine Coast.
I am pleased to advise that the Sunshine Antenna Service team are continuing to provide our full range of services to the Sunshine Coast community and I want to thank you for your continued support as we continue to navigate these strange times.
New News:
Sunshine Antenna Service has formed a dedicated Smoke Alarms division called Sunshine Smoke Alarms, to better assist the Sunshine Coast with the new smoke alarms legislation compliance for rental properties.
We have designed this new arm of our business, focused on making the upgrades as affordable and reliable as possible for our existing customers.
If you have investment properties, as many of our customers do, you will be aware that there is a deadline of 1st January 2022 for all Rental properties to have the new, interconnected smoke alarms with 10 year lithium batteries installed in all bedrooms and hallways.
We have secured the services of a very experienced smoke alarm installer to run this project and we are focused on getting as many rentals as possible upgraded by the January 2022 deadline.
We can provide all the usual inspection, compliance reports and of course upgrades for those of you needing to bring your investment property up to the new Australian Standard AS3786-2014.
Red Smoke Alarms
We have partnered up with a local smoke alarm supplier whose alarm systems come with a full 10-year replacement warranty which covers the full-service life. The Red Smoke Alarm performs as well as it’s competitors’ brands with the added feature of a wall mounted, wireless control panel that allows you to silence all the alarms instantly for 10 mins with one push of the button. This panel also allows you to locate which alarm triggered so you can quickly establish where the problem is.
The reason this is so important is that with the multiple interconnected alarms, if they go off, they all go off, and should this occur (especially in the middle of the night) all the alarms can be silenced quickly, without the tenant running around with a broomstick or a ladder to press the hush button on each alarm.
I do hope this information is helpful and I will have some more Audio-visual news in the next newsletter.
Meantime, stay safe, happy and healthy and look out just that little bit more for your friends, family and neighbours.
